New Patients
Everything you need for your first visit, including injury, OWCP and workers' compensation patients.
Welcome to Core Medical Center. Whether you are recovering from a federal or workplace injury, an auto accident, or persistent pain that has not improved, your first visit is built to get answers quickly and start a plan the same day when appropriate. This page walks you through what to bring, how injury and OWCP or workers' compensation visits work, and what to expect when you arrive at our Blue Springs or Overland Park clinic.
New-patient appointments are typically available the same week, and our team includes bilingual staff to make the visit easier. If your care is tied to a claim, having the right details with you on day one keeps treatment and authorization moving without delay.
What to Bring
- Photo ID and insurance card
- For OWCP or workers' compensation: your claim number, accepted conditions, and adjuster or case-manager contact
- For auto-accident or personal-injury care: your attorney's contact and any claim or police-report details
- A list of current medications and prior imaging or records if available
What Your First Visit Looks Like
Your first visit starts with a focused history and a physician-directed evaluation of your injury or pain. We review any imaging or records you bring, examine the area of concern, and explain what we are seeing in plain language. From there we outline a plan, which may combine physical or occupational therapy, chiropractic care, targeted injections, regenerative options or structured rehabilitation, and, when your claim allows, we can often begin treatment the same day. Because our providers share one building, your plan stays coordinated from the start.
Injury, OWCP and Workers' Compensation Patients
If your visit is connected to a federal OWCP claim, a Missouri or Kansas workers' compensation case, or an auto-accident or personal-injury claim, let us know when you book so we can prepare the right authorization and documentation. For accepted federal and workers' compensation claims, care is typically provided at no out-of-pocket cost to you. See our insurance and payment page for how billing works.
Same-Week Appointments
New-patient appointments are typically available the same week. Confirm authorization details for your specific carrier or claim with our front desk when you book. Ready to start? Book an appointment at the Blue Springs or Overland Park location.
